Mermet Springs

Well that was a lot of fun. A lot to see. Everyone should plan on at least one trip there. There is a lot to see but also a lot of people. Plan on a week day trip if you can just to many people to have great vis.

Back From Canada

OK Canada was great but now back to diving. Leaving 3 AM in the morning going to Mermet Springs in Il. to dive. Looks great. Will post when I return.

Gone to Canada

OK I have not been keeping up the BLOG as I shpuld. I am going to try and do better. I am going to Canada Tuesday 31 Aug will be back in about a week. I may even go diving on the way back, will see. However I will go after I get back so will start being better then.

Diving in Bonaire

On my first dive at Buddy Diving Bonaire

On my first dive at Buddy Dive Resort I saw the clearest water ever and more fish than I thought possible on one dive. I saw gorgeous coral, Barracuda, up close and personal, Tarpan, Ele, Turtle, Eagle Ray and too many things to talk about it, just takes your breath away. My only problem on this dive was vis. I found it hard to see with tears of joy so plentiful. I mean it, I was crying, God made this for me!

Happy New Year. The water is fine come on in! The vis is not bad either.

Well it is done! I am now a card carrying certified Divemaster. The next stop is a trip to Bonaire on Jan 29, 09. The water here is still drivable. The temp last weekend was 62. Greers Ferry is still up and the vis is not all that great but, it is diving.

DiveMaster Training

I have been studying to be a Dive Master and now I know why Mike and other Instructors have No Hair. I have been pulling mine out as well. Man this is hard.
I did go to college for four years but that was nothing when compared to the copious amounts of printed information that you have to memorize and then regurgitate this involves.
I know I can do the diving part but you have to be smart as well.

My reason for the web site, "http://divesitesinarkansas.com" was to share dive site information with anyone interested in diving in Arkansas. If you did not want to have to pay for information, and get good information that is your site. You will not have to spending all day just to get two dives that are easy for someone else on their schedule.
